The problem

The parent was anxious about their child arriving alone in a foreign country and getting safely to a host family in an unfamiliar city.

The solution

The ISUK team messaged the student before their flight, provided the driver’s name and number, tracked the flight and met them at arrivals with a clear sign. The on-call team stayed in touch until the student was safely at their accommodation.

The outcome

The parent reported feeling completely reassured throughout and praised the constant updates and personal care. “It felt like someone from our family was waiting for her,” they said.
