Centralising Student Transport for a Large Language School Network
Leading international language school with 10 UK centres
The problem
With multiple campuses across the UK, this language school relied on local accommodation and student services teams at each centre to coordinate transport. Each site had its own relationships with local drivers, varying levels of reliability, and inconsistent procedures. During peak seasons, airport arrivals were especially challenging, often requiring 3–4 staff per site to manage bookings, track flights, and liaise with students, leading to duplication, inefficiencies, and high staffing costs.
The solution
After seeing the efficiency and student satisfaction we delivered at their London schools, the organisation engaged International Students UK to manage all student transfers nationally. We provided a consistent, centralised booking process, 24/7 communication with students and drivers, and full journey monitoring. Our team handled all the admin, flight delays, and emergency cover, allowing the client to restructure their internal approach.
The outcome
The school network successfully transitioned from having 30–40 staff spread across 10 sites managing transport, to a single national student services team of just 8. This streamlined approach saved time, reduced staff overhead, and dramatically improved consistency across their programmes. The client cited ISUK as a key driver behind their ability to centralise operations without compromising on student care.
